AmazonMusic
Music streaming service from Amazon. What I like about it
- it has my history of MP3s and even CDs I've bought from them (they've been my primary music purchase-channel for years)
- the Discovery playlist usually isn't horrible (update: extremely hit-or-miss, some weeks are awful, occasionally really good)
Nov'2022: there are 3 varieties: Amazon Music Free, Amazon Music Prime, and Amazon Music Unlimited
- I'm an Amazon Prime member, so we get that 2nd choice. But unclear on what the heck that means!
- it looks like I don't get "all music" (play any song), but I can play all of "My Music" (that I've bought from Amazon)
- and I can shuffle-play "any artist, album, or playlist", but just on my Amazon Alexa Echo Dot, not on my laptop or android phone app... (where I'm limited to Music-Free)
- hrm some limits might be a bug?
Jun'2023: upgraded to Unlimited instead of Spotify, at least partially to be able to send it to my Alexa for background-music while I work.
