Information Appliance

I'd include in this category any form of hardware smaller/cheaper than a "real" PC or laptop which allows the user to manage data.

Not all of these are necessarily always networked. I guess Network Appliance would be an always-networked subclass.

Some examples:

• PDA

• WebTV

• Tivo

• web tablets, etc.
