Self Service Web Ads

New (late-2001) trend of setting up systems where people can buy small batches of WebAd-s with no human intervention.

Kicked off by Google's AdWords. Which is the only one I know of which is targeted (by keyword), as opposed to just being rotated randomly. But more expensive; the others are cheap enough to be a hobby self-promotion.

HttpAds is run by FuckedCompany's Philip Kaplan, and any site operator can host/sell ads.
