Young Adult Short Story collection ISBN:0316008095

I was rather disappointed by this. I was hoping for inspirational-yet-realistic stories of kids actually doing something, like a Hacker. Something closer to Jon Katz's Geeks ISBN:0767906993.

But instead this is stories of kids mostly defined as followers/Consumers of others' stuff/plans: StarTrekkers, StarWars geeks, dinosaur geeks, etc.

I suppose there's inherent value in Passion for many things, but as a counter-example, how do you feel about Spectator Sports and the associated herd-thought?

This needed some touching on a possible Network Of Learning/UnSchooling/Teenage Society.
