Installing on my IBook

• need WxPython

  • started here which led to here which led to a .dmg package which I couldn't mount.

  • so went to the source which had more recent MacOs X binaries.

• also need Lib Xml for which there are Mac binaries http://www.zveno.com/open_source/libxml2xslt.html |here

  • that seems to have disappeared, realize that Fink should handle this...

Got all the pieces and installed. Launched.

• Got some unhappy-sounding msgs along the way, but finally seemed to open a local OPML file fine.

• rejects Python files I try to edit ("unrecognized token")

  • I'm pretty sure Lib Xml didn't get put in properly...
