Kurt McGettrick on The Meters’ final studio New Directions, where he wrote horn arrangements for the Tower of Power to play and even adding his own baritone and bass saxophones to “I’m Gone” as well as clarinet and flute to “We Got the Kind of a Love”. As a result, he called them the Tower of Jello.

I wonder what Organization Models (and financial structures) are used for a band which lasts for a really long time and has some long-time members yet anyone might turn over at any time...
