Kurt McGettrick on The Meters’ final studio New Directions, where he wrote horn arrangements for the Tower of Power to play and even adding his own baritone and bass saxophones to “I’m Gone” as well as clarinet and flute to “We Got the Kind of a Love”. As a result, he called them the Tower of Jello.
